Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants

Built in 2018, the Exeter, NH wastewater treatment plant features a complete Dutchland precast post tensioned concrete system for the rectangular biological treatment basins and the circular clarifier tanks. The precast aeration tank measures 200’-8” long by 26’-11” wide by 22’ high. The three secondary clarifiers each have a 70’ inside diameter. Mixing is accomplished by the EnviroMix compressed gas large bubble system. The WEDECO Duron inclined lamp UV provides disinfection.  

The Grafton, MA wastewater treatment plant meets its stringent phosphorus permit with the Aqua Aerobics Cloth Media Disk Filter. Disinfection provided by the WEDECO Duron UV system. 

 GLSD (Greater Lawrence Sanitary District) recently added a complete digester to electricity system that utilizes the latest technology Enclosed Flare from Varec Biogas. The gas safety systems, flame arresters and pressure relief valves, are also Varec components. 

Dutchland provided and installed this 18 million gallon Combined Sewer Overflow Tank in Alexandria, VA. The buried structure is 415ft long by 256ft wide. The complete structure, completed in 18 months, consists of 1,665 total precast pieces and over 25,000 cu.yd concrete.

 The design/build project at Lee, MA wastewater incorporates Aqua Aerobics SBR and Cloth Media Disk Filters. Aqua provided a biological and filtration process performance guarantee from raw influent to final effluent.

 The recent upgrade to achieve nutrient removal in Uxbridge, MA selected Aqua Aerobics Cloth Media Disk Filters for their low phosphorus application. The plant also selected UltraTech vertical configuration UV 

Capable of 96MGD of flow, Waterbury, CT selected 4 MegaDisk Cloth Media Filters from Aqua Aerobics.

This system reliabily achieves the 0.1mg/l phosphorus limit required by the DEP.

When Norwich, CT needed a new gas membrane holder for their existing digester system, they selected Ovivo as the supplier and installer.

Brockton, MA converted their existing traveling bridge sand filters into AquaDiamond Cloth Media Filters for a low phosphorus effluent.
